Seminar 2026

Sharing the Heavenly Banquet Mini-conference | 11–12 June 2026

Reigniting an Anglo-Catholic revival in the Anglican Church Southern Queensland

Sharing the Heavenly Banquet

You are warmly invited to Sharing the Heavenly Banquet, a two-day mini-conference exploring the renewal of Anglo-Catholic life, worship, spirituality and mission in the Anglican Church Southern Queensland.

This gathering is for clergy and laity who long to see a deeper sacramental, prayerful and outward-looking Catholic life within our Church. It will bring together prayer, conversation, teaching, fellowship, social mission, lay formation, and the celebration of the Mass.

A major feature of the program will be a special Thursday evening webinar with Bishop Philip North, Bishop of Blackburn, who will speak on renewal, mission and the life of the Church. Bishop Philip is widely recognised as a compelling voice for Catholic Anglican renewal, parish mission, and the Church’s vocation among the poor.

The conference will also ask what Anglo-Catholic renewal might look like in our own context: not simply preserving cherished forms, but faithfully transmitting a living inheritance through formation, sacramental life, prayer, hospitality, justice and mission.
